After a ballot amongst cast members, Moodswings has been chosen for support during Coronation Streets 50th Year.
Announcing the initiative, Kieran Roberts, Executive Producer said, “The 50th year of Coronation Street is a massive landmark in T.V. history, and one that will be commemorated in many different ways, both on and off the screen. We’re delighted that support for local and national charities will form an important part of our anniversary commemorations enabling us to use the programmes profile to provide real support for good causes in Manchester and beyond”
Welcoming the announcement, the Chair of Moodswings Tom McAlpine said, “Everybody involved with the Charity is delighted and honoured that we have been chosen for support as part of Coronation Streets 50th Year commemorations. This is a wonderful opportunity for us to strengthen the Charity and raise awareness of the services we provide”
