We run a well-established Recovery program that offers people a very different way of dealing with their ‘mental illness’.
All the people choosing to join the Program have been diagnosed with a ‘severe and enduring mental health problem’. The aim is for them to make their problem less severe and less enduring.
A Recovery Plan is agreed, based on a path between where a person is starting from, and where they intend to be. Short. medium and long-term goals are set, and any barriers or obstacles identified. These are then systematically overcome or removed. The Program is very demanding and requires a high level of commitment in both time and effort.
An important part of the Program is the help we provide for people who are supporting the recovery of a friend or family member. They can attend a series of six ‘Supporting Recovery’ workshops and then if they wish, join a regular ‘Supporters Group’.

Positive Recovery is not for everyone. Get in touch and find out if it could be for you.
