Sports Day 2011

The rain managed to hold off for Moodswings Sports Day last week held at the Angel Meadow. The group gathered for the event which included egg and spoon race, relay, and of course the sack race.

With everyone getting involved having a go at each race, some people shone with their hidden athletic talents.

Andrew raced to victory in the sack race and the obstacle course. With a sprint that could have given Linford Christie a run for his money.

Fonder Tom McAlpine and daughter Jennie were there to support the day, Jennie was eager to partake in the fun just missing out on a win in the sack race.

The tension mounted as the games heated up, with everyone’s competitive streak shining through

The day finished with a grand finale of water fun, with water relay where two teams went neck and neck to fill a bucket without wasting a drop.

The day was fun filled for all involved, the winners receiving medals presented.
